The Ghost Devil has the ability to make its body see-through and unable to be touched. This means that it can’t be hurt by physical attacks or normal methods of fighting. However, the Curse Devil can still be affected by other devils or special weapons, like Aki’s sword. Aki’s sword is powerful enough to even pierce through the Curse Devil’s nail.
The true personality of the Ghost Devil is still a mystery, and we don’t have much information about it. At first, the Ghost Devil was unsure about fighting Katana Man because Akane Sawatari seemed really scary. But everything changed when Himeno offered her whole body as payment. This mysterious change suggests that the Ghost Devil may care about something more than just avoiding fights. It might have a different way of looking at fear and the things that scare us.
What’s Its Role In The Story?
At a very important part of the story, the Ghost Devil makes a deal with Himeno. The deal allows her to control the right hand of the Ghost Devil, but she has to give up her eye in return. This agreement is really important during the Eternity Devil arc. It affects what happens in the series.
In the story, Himeno uses the Ghost Devil’s arm to grab the Eternity Devil while it’s in the air. This helps Power to then cut the Eternity Devil into pieces. Himeno reveals that she has made a contract with the Ghost Devil and explains the details of their agreement. In addition, when Power does something that makes Himeno question her loyalty and puts Kobeni Higashiyama in danger, Himeno uses the Ghost Devil’s arm to control Power by choking her. Power cannot touch the Ghost Devil’s arm, but it gives up when Himeno wins.
Later on, there is a big showdown where the Eternity Devil traps the group inside a hotel and grows bigger. Himeno tries to defeat the powerful creature by using the arm of the Ghost Devil. Unfortunately, she is not successful in her efforts, which leads her to stop Aki from using his sword against the Eternity Devil. She uses the Ghost Devil’s arm to hold him back.
During an important moment in Denji’s fight against the Eternity Devil, Himeno steps in and pulls a cord through the Ghost Devil’s arm. This cuts off the connection between Aki and the Katana Man who had attacked him. Himeno then asks the powerful Ghost Devil for help. At first, the Ghost Devil is scared of Akane Sawatari and doesn’t want to help her. However, Himeno, determined and strong-willed, makes a deal with the Ghost Devil. She agrees to give up her entire body in return for its power. The Ghost Devil agrees to help Himeno, giving her the strength she needs to defeat Katana Man. But when Akane calls upon her own strong creature, the Snake Devil, it eats the Ghost Devil, making it disappear along with Himeno’s body.
While conducting a raid on a hideout where terrorists were hiding, Aki comes across Akane once more. Aki begs her to give up, but she tells her faithful Snake Devil to release the Ghost Devil, which now listens to her commands. The Ghost Devil attacks Aki, but he manages to dodge it using his future sight ability. He cuts off some of its arms. However, Aki quickly becomes overwhelmed by the Ghost Devil’s attack and finds himself trapped in its grip.
As the Ghost Devil starts to take away Aki’s life, Akane’s control suddenly weakens, causing the Ghost Devil to let go of Aki and drop them to the ground. Something unexpected happens when the Ghost Devil offers Aki a cigarette with the words “Easy revenge!” written on it. Aki remembers a talk with Himeno where she revealed that the Ghost Devil’s power is all about sensing fear. With his newfound knowledge and without fear, Aki confidently climbs up the Ghost Devil’s body. He strikes the apparition with his sword, defeating it completely.
What Are The Abilities of Ghost Devil?
The Ghost Devil can make deals with people that no one else can. In Himeno’s situation, she made a pact that allowed her to use the power of the Ghost Devil’s right arm. She was able to keep possession of the arm all the time.
The Ghost Devil uses its right arm to talk to Himeno. It can make a mouth appear so they can talk to each other. As the agreement continues, Himeno can give up more parts of her body. This allows her to use the full power of the Ghost Devil’s complete form, but only for a short time.
In this heightened state, Himeno gains increased strength and can also pass through objects, become invisible, and sense fear. However, the Ghost Devil can only sense people who are scared. It can’t detect anyone who approaches without feeling fear.
